We have been invited by the OSU Lake County Master Gardener Volunteers to join them on a tour of the Aurora Tree Museum.
Ben Askren, park developer, will be our guide, expect to do some walking.

Christmas Bird Count Outing
Christmas Bird Count Outing
The 2024 annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count for the Willoughby Area will be on Saturday, December 21. We survey a large area in western Lake County as part of the Cleveland (east side) count. Areas we bird include the Sherwin Preserve in Waite Hill; Gully Brook Park, part of Chagrin River Park, Daniels Park and Todd Field in Willoughby; Pete's Pond Preserve and Coulby Park in Wickliffe; and Hach Otis Preserve in Willoughby Hills plus any other green areas we can access.
At noonish, we gather up for lunch and fellowship (plans to be announced).
If you are interested and able to join in the fun this year, please let Mary Huey (maryhueyquilts47@gmail.com) know by December 10 so teams and assignments can be organized.
Also, Blackbrook Audubon's annual Christmas Count (central Lake County and northern Geauga County) will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 -- you can contact Dan Donaldson at danook057@yahoo.com if you are interested in joining them.
